I have the vu+duo 2.4 vix. my duo is hardwired to virgin hub, my lappy is wireless. How and what do i need in order to stream from my duo? Instructions would be helpful.

I do this. ViX 2.4 has everything you need. Just run VLC on the lappy.

    1) Type your Vu+ box IP address into browser to get WebIF
    2) Head into the bouquets section
    3) There should be a little 'screen' icon next to each channel. Click that and it sends the lappy a .m3u file which you can tell your browser to open with VLC automatically

Using wireless, probably wise to stick to the SD channels as HD may overwhelm your wifi and glitch/stutter.
