    Yes brown marks all over the top of circuit board, the solder side looks perfect though except for bad joints caused by the long heatsink moving about only a piece of tape securing it to the large transformer.
    I have removed the 5L0565R from its sink & no thermal paste used anywhere.

    so another box with a short life then.heatsink is important and so is the fan working,whats next to go.

    Looks like another classic case of orange juice being used as flux to me. Seen the film- got the tee-shirt.

    I've now seen/owned two clone PSUs and have a genuine one.
    The difference topside is obvious. One looks like it should and will do the job, the two clone PSUs look like they will last 5 mins.

    Other boards aren't too bad on the clones, but the PSUs are of shocking (fnar) quality.

    As an aside.

    My prev clone would never move my motor. The genuine one will - reliably. Read into that what you will.

    I am having a similar issue... my motor sometimes stop moving... what did you do????? give up on it or any fix for it??

    gutted man,, wasted 180 for a krap box...shud hav stuck to my blade 7000s...works perfectly
    but i lov the new stuff u can do with these boxes
