sim 2.01 updgrade to BL76 for gemini v5.00 for clones

I have not yet tested this... but found it this morning

upgrade clone dm800 for 2.01 sim from BL75 to BL76

If anyone test this please tell us how you done it

Ukdreamshop is selling them just spoke to him on msn you just flash via webshell the bl76 nfi and then gemini 5 nfi,

Yes i can confirm it works. You just flash the bootloader nfi with the web interface and then reboot the dreambox. Then reflash with whatever image you require. Cheers for the original info

This upgrade sim2.0.1 bl75 to bl76 in this type of clone
no real benifit from this and you can not install original images when you have done upgrading
in fact number bl75 or 76 or even bl69 with sim201 are all fake and no real difference and no practical benifit from these numbers
all accept original drivers what evere the bootloader number and this is the only thing what shoud care for.
but as warning do not flash original images like unpatched gemini 5 after upgrading to this bootloader in clone,else dreambox will stuck at intial reboot with error ca not found

This update worked fine on my clone box. I didn't even need to reflash the image again.

just put over the top of your image

not sure how to go back to 75 , not sure why you would want to anyhow

My DM800s clone is sim 2.01 and bl72
is there a way to go to bl75 or bl76?
I am stuck with such an old image (gemini 4.6) and I would like to upgrade if it is doable.

just flash a 76 image from your sim teams site mate , you can go from 72 to 76 by just flashing the image
