evolution 2.2 flash query

having totally locked up my db500 i decided to re flash it .. it had a kaos flash installed when i got it imported from hong kong.
i'm a novice with this but having read thru forums and aquired dreambox tools i've reflashed the box to evolution 2.2, only because it sounded ok ,, is there any merit over other images?

Also could any emu's work with evolution 2.2 ?

i have only ever used nabilo image and have no complains

hi mate ..thanks for the info... how do you find the picture quality of db500?

mine is very poor ..compare to my humax pvr box ..

should i have gone for a more expensive dreambox maybe?
