No communication

Hi guys , can any one please help
I rebooted my pc and since then cannot get picture on my db .
Using dhcp on dbox communication page i get 192.168.1.##
When i enter these figures on DCC i get Network ok (green lines to router and db )
On tv screen communication page i can only get bottom 2 green dots even though dcc says ok ????
Tried another new box but get nothing , only solid green light on box with which i can do nothing ( am i correct in saying this is shipped without any image on it ??)
Guys how can dcc say all is ok yet cant get communication page 4 green lights .

Now tried flashing a jade image through ftp in dcc programme and although it said it installed ok , the screen is black and box is unresponsive . Now cannot get dcc to connect !!!!!
