    Default Birmingham scanning options

I've just put the DK v1.1 image on my new box and when I've come to do a scan and there appears to be a few different selections for the Birmingham area. These being Birmingham TW and C/W along with Birmingham 1, Birmingham 2.

Any ideas which is the correct one to select?

    Thanks in advance

You will need to find which Cable Company serviced your area of Birmingham.
    TW is T e l e w e s t and C/W is C a b l e & W i r e l e s s, not sure what Birm1 & 2 are. Ask the neighbours?!?

However, all of Birmingham has a Sym Rate of 6952, you should have an option for this.

As the previous said 6952 wil work fine but if you are ever in doubt than just do a 'Bruteforce scan' which covers all areas.

Ex-tw and ex-c&w both used 6952 as the symbol rate but the default frequencies are different. If you used the 6952 option it would also have worked ok.
