tried dream up null modem cable but my box remote wont work and goes straight to green light when asked to turn on box no flash option available i think the box is now dead

it was nagra rom bin file was using dc centre and flashed nagrarom7 bin file by accident

what do you mean your remote dont work you dont need it to work with dreamup, are you unplugging the box? start dreamup with the null in it and the pc but the plug out of the socket.


click connect then it,ll say plug dreambox in or something like that i forget, when it does you plug the dreambox in via the power socket.


cant understand why you mention your remote or the lights.

must be my cable then as it says connection prepared switch on your dreambox but when i plug in at mains there is nothing in the log window or box type in the corner

is it deff a null as you wasnt sure in one of your posts....it needs to be a null modem so make sure it is one and if it isnt then you need to buy one, think ive seen threads saying 3 quid off ebay.
