Camd on/off?

I understand that after holding the "info" button on the remote control using the DK image, the Camd can be turned on or off. Is it possible for the Camd to be turned off itself somehow? As my friends dreambox stopped working, so he had bought it over to my place, and the problem was that the camd had been switched off - was this him messing with it, or is this a known issue?

cam shouldn`t switch off unless u change it ur self

i have seen this a couple of times i always assume they did it themselves by mistake

I thought so too, but also thought it's kinda hard to do it by mistake, like keeping hold of info, going to the camd selection and then selecting none then pressing OK. I don't know...Thanks guys anyway.
