Hi,

I'm trying to put a cam and skin on the box.

I got a whole set of files for MGcamd, so not sure which one works and where it goes. I got files with mips, PPC, Old PPC and SH4.

Second problem is I've been trying to get Nemsis Glassline E1 (its from this site) on this to work. It picks it up, I try restarting. When the start evocamd comes up it just goes back to old skin.

If you're box is connected to your router you can use the addons menu (Yellow > Addons Manager > DK Server) to download and install different emu.

The skin...make sure you put the pictures folder in /var/tuxbox/config/enigma/pictures and the skin folder in /var/tuxbox/config/enigme/skins. If there are files missing or pictures missing, etc., it will try to load them and they aren't there so it will return to the default skin.

If you have a null modem cable you can connect hyperterminal and see what the box is doing when it boots and what error it shows.

Set the hyperterminal com settings to:

Bits per second - 115200
Data bits - 8
Parity - None
Stop bits - 1
Flow control - None

Reboot the box and it should say 'DREAMBOX DM500'.
When the following text is displayed, press backspace on the keyboard.

Linux/PPC load: console=null root=/dev/mtdblock5 rootfstype=squashfs ro

Add the following on the end.

console=ttyS0,115200

So now it should read...

Linux/PPC load: console=null root=/dev/mtdblock5 rootfstype=squashfs ro console=ttyS0,115200

Press Enter and the box will boot but will show you what it's doing in the hyperterminal window. When it reboots you will see what error occurs.
