dm500 dm900c-ii problem

I have 2 sets of DM500c, one is my own, the other belongs to my friend, who asked me to help him out,

the conditions are different, my set, some channels can't work, especially the paid basic channels... like NAT GEO, and HISTORY channel. They just go blank on me.

the second set, the Key File Editor, Yellow Button, once pressed only gives out a "Audio Selection, Stereo/Left Mono/Right Mono" screen. don't even have a page for Code entry. can anyone help?

Did a master reset and it works now.
