can you use a null moden cable to do softwre up dates on a dreambox 500c

If you can find a fully fixed image then you could use a null modem to reflash it, but if you only want to ftp the new roms then you need a crossover cable to ftp the files to it.

You can also do it wirelessly if you have a wireless router and computer

The DM doesnt have a wifi card
