You use which ever suits your needs. Most PCs only have one com port so select com1.

If you are only using a null modem cable then don't check the 'use network' box.

hi ive got a dreambox but i do not know how to fix it as it has gone it keeps on saying service could not be found this hppend after the keys rolled can u show me how to fix it or is there an easy way of doing it . also do u have to connect the dreambox to ur computer and ur TV simultaneously to flash it. and can u use a trial version of smartFTP of do u have to get a full license for it to work.THNX

Trial version of smartftp will still work for a limited period, or you could use a free client like filezilla.

i have flashed the drive with dw 2.0. but all i get a a boot screen, it asked for time zone and then, back to boot screen and nothing happens.

need help. have manual scanned box, and all channels have come up, but only the free to view channels are showing. i have used digital world 2.0.

what have i done wrong. i scanned with bruteforce as i live in england.
