why do you want to change the keys, you should not need to, have you uploaded by ftp the roms that auto update? Best you have read through these first.. It will save you a lot of time an effort in the future..

    Default FTP

I've set up FlashFXP and input the Ip, name & pword I'm connected straight to the computer but it can't seem to address the DM500. I've a cat5 and serial cable attached to the box but nothing, flashftp times out looking for the box?

If you are connecting directly to your PC you have to use a Crossover ethernet cable...the wiring is different to a standard ethernet cable. If you are trying to use a standard ethernet cable then you will need to connect your PC to a router and then run a cable from the router to your DM500. I think you can use any cables if your going through a router.

I just use an old BT Broadband router and two standard Ethernet cables.

I'm sure it's a crossover cable, that's what I asked for when I bought it, however I'll check it out. Thanks for that.
