Key Updates

Is there any way I can make my keys update because I don't think my box is doing it I have all of the files in the keys directory but I'm not sure if I should have something in the scce directory. I can't help but think I'm missing somthing out because all of the channels are listed and the basic ones are working like BBC 1 and that. Also do I need to CHMOD any of my files or directorys?

was also just wondering should i have keys in the var_init folder?

hi keys go into var/keys/schmod to 755 go to blue button restart cam that shold fix it hope this helps.

What image are you using?

Don't worry about the .var_init folder.

The nagrarom.bin files should be in /var/scce. The key files should be in /var/keys. If your /var/scce folder is a shortcut to the /var/keys folder, i.e. when you double click on /var/scce it takes you to /var/keys, put all files in /var/keys.

i dont have a nagrarom.bin file maybe thats the problem the rapidshare link i followed for the keys didnt have any roms included

and i'm using the dk 1.1 image

Downlaod the files from here...

RapidShare: Easy Filehosting

Delete the contents of your /keys and /scce folders.
Copy the contents of the keys and scce folders from the rar to your respective folders on your box.
Go to Sky Sports 1, press MENU > SHUTDOWN > reboot now

When it boots, it should auto update and sports should come on.

thanks so much it was just that the files i had earlier didnt have the scce folder in it and all of they files were missing. Sorry for being such a noob and wasting your time. I really appreciate it.

Yep it really helped me I have been messing around with this all night and now if i was to do it again I could do the whole thing in around 15 mins.
