Hi all hope you can help 2 things, how do you make the locked channels stay locked so when box is switched of they are not reset and become open

Also how do you get the box to always start the evocam insted of the common interface this also happens when box is switched off,

I am using the standard Gemni image that comes on a box bought from dvbseller.

first thing it would do would be to reflash the box with another image...say dk v1, since it's our image you will get unrivaled support for it here and it will automaticly start with evocamd.

its very easy to get it going and can be found here Digital Kaos - Downloads - Digital Kaos v1 Image for DM500 (cable and sat)

as for your locked channels...if you mean adult channels why dont you just delete them your services file then theres no chance of it coming on when kids in the room.

however if your box still keeps losing its memory with another image then i'd say its faulted m8

Try this Go into setup and set up parental lock then exit out
Press OK button then RED for all services
Scroll throu till you come 2 anything you dont want to see
Press the MENU button and scroll to LOCK Do this for all the channels you dont want
Then go back to the SETUP menu into parental lock and press the green button to save it then EXIT out
All the channels you set have now gone
Press button on front of DM500 and hold for several seconds
Now when you press the RED STANDBY button on control you can take the plug out and when it restarts its just how it was with the channels still hidden.
