Need Information about Null Modem Cable ?

Dear experts , I need information about Null Modem Cable . I have a RS232 Cable Which I Update My SuperMax Reciever . Can I flash with this cable my DreamBox .

An RS232 serial cable is not null modem unless you know it's null modem.

So, if you have just an RS232 serial cable (and you don't know it's null modem) you'll either need to buy a null modem RS232 serial cable or a null modem adapter to use with your existing cable.

To upgrade SuperMax Reciever firmware you should have a null modem cable. If you used this cable to update your sat box, then its the same cable for dreambox.

Get one of ebay, they are only a couple of quid and will work a treat for u.
I had to get one after the keyroll for the Eurovox
