    Hi Guys
    If I want to replace my existing image with a different one on a dreambox 500c do I have to select flash erase when i flash the new one?

    Mate use telnet if you have an ethernet cable takes 4 minutes tops.

    I,ve already used the Flash with Dreamup sticky very helpful,Im just not sure if I have to press Flash erase when replacing one image to another one.

    yes press flash erase that would erase the current image you have on your dreambox and replace it with the 1 you want

    Wipes out your services as well though does it not? Remember to take a back up.
