I tried all the solutions here but not work for my DM800. I used normal LAN cable connect PC to router. Do I need to use crossover cable? Do I also need to use crossover cable connect DB to router?

Hello
I still get the "File to big!" error....
Please give an idiot recipe...
I
did any one come up with the fault file to big i ve tried all methods and still not working
can i take my working dm800 and put the sim in there and then flash the bootloader
also is the bootloader on the sim card?
Hi buddy, saw your pm, read this thread,
Fix: No CA Error
it will definitely solve as i have tried no only once, but few times.![]()
hi buddy, Well i actually tried all method but it didnt work. In the end i send the box back to my supplier and he fix it. hehe
I also had the "file to big" error.
But I found a way around it.
First of you need the null modem cable and the "broken" box need to be connected to the network.
Second use the patched version of Dreamup included in the zip file in romy's post.
NO CA FOUND/FILE TO BIG FIX
Start the patched DreamUp. Make sure network is checked (enabled) and next push the Connect button.
Then power up your dreambox. Upload should start.
After the upload the "No CA found" message should appear. Don't click OK and no need to start enforcer or DM800_repair.
INSTEAD open a browser and go to the ipnumber of the dreambox (it is on the display of the box)
The bootloader webinterface should appear and you can flash the box from there.
It worked for me, I hope it will work for you too.
Good luck,
Scanner
Any solution to this? I have tried everything but stills gets: File to big! when I try to flash from DreamUP.
My DB was crashed so badly that it corrupted the bootloader (power on the DB and it displays "error" in less than 1 second. I managed to use RS232/LAN method to revive the bootloader and subsequently my entire box.
Fix: No CA Error
