does any one now where to put the picon file on the dm600 to make them work
cant remember how to do it

oh suger, no tried the nabilsat image buddy, but will be summit like /usr/picons/ /usr/icons/ or /etc/icons/ or /etc/picon/ and make sure the images size are match what size the skin is looking for. ( find that in the skin .esml file )

infact if you download some picons from there addon panel it should put them in right place for you to have a look, and you can just remove them and add your uk ones in..

funny feeling it will be /etc/picon/ or /etc/picons/ now i think more about it

yes my friend it was /etc/picon/ i deleted the sat picons and put in the my cable picon which was only 320 kb bigger rebooted ,has not crashed the image yet

still dosent work yet might be skin dependant

they have quite a few on there download server i will try another skin

saying that ive seen a screenshot of the new /default skin which shows a picon

so i will have another look

there are a few things to consider about why they wouldnt work,

-there may be strict file size resrictions on the picons in the image ( which would mean there too high quality colours )
-they need be exact size the skin.esml looking for open the esml in wordpad and search for the picon parts
-watch the names of them,, some images want the name to be exactly like the channel name,, some images want all lowercase,,

i am sure you will get it to your satisfaction..
