    Default power supply

i heard the power supplys were shi*e but not this shi*e, my dreambox finaly arrived from our freinds in china, spanking new, great stuff even came with dk image, up and running in 10 mins to good to be true i thought. unpluged it took it into another room plugged power supply in seen a small spark at the plug then the power supply no longer lit up or worked it lasted about half an hour!, has samsung on the back (somehow dont think so) anyway tried anoter supply with the same rating 12v 3amp and works fine why use crap power supplys surely they know there not up to much!

thanks m8, gave mine to a friend who works building the things and he said the soldering inside is very light and dry.

well got it open had to prize it apart and yes the soldered fuse had blown, quite hard to get apart there glued, think the best bet when reasembling it would be to tape the outer black housing back up with electrical tape (for future blown fuses!) see enclosed pic i know its crap but so is my camera. fuse is on the left near the black power in block. hope this helps, they realy do look cheaply made!
