Thanks to some useful info on here, I was able to get my DM500C flashed with DW 2.1, scanned channels & things were working.
Not all channels were found & I'd have to create bouquets so I thought the easiest thing would be to transfer my Dbox files using Devlifish's guide here:
Guide: Converting Dbox2 Neutrino Services to Dreambox Enigma Services
Now, I did a search & didn't see anyone mentioning a fix to this, so I hope I'm not covering old ground. Apologies if this has already been covered.
When I went to the bouquets, they were all listed as Removed Service & had no channels.
After a bit of checking the files, etc, I found that Bouquetter had created userbouquets.tv.epl with sections such as:
#SERVICE: 4097:7:0:4c292:0:0:0:0:0:0:/var/tuxbox/config/enigma/userbouquet.4c292.tv
#TYPE 16385
/var/tuxbox/config/enigma/userbouquet.4c292.tv
The guide says to:
Using your FTP client, ftp the userbouquet files to /var/tuxbox/config/enigma/cable on your box.
This leaves the software looking for the .tv files in the wrong place.
I edited userbouquets.tv.epl and changed the paths to include cable. I guess moving the .tv files up a level would also fix the problem.
#SERVICE: 4097:7:0:4c292:0:0:0:0:0:0:/var/tuxbox/config/enigma/cable/userbouquet.4c292.tv
#TYPE 16385
/var/tuxbox/config/enigma/cable/userbouquet.4c292.tv

Get Digital Kaos on your Apple or Android device with Tapatalk
I'll be doing that this weekend, thanks. I want to find out how it works, not just watch TV on it. Showing a working box to the missus does help justify me spending money though!![]()
