my dreambox finally came!!! yay!!!
it came the same time as my booster! yay!!!!!
i successfully flashed dk v1.1. yay!!!!
i found loads of channels. yay!!!!!!!!
i got no setanta sports 2. boooo!
i am currently rescanning for the 3rd time using a bruteforce uk scan, so while its doing that i'll give my thoughts on the kaos image.
i really like it! obviously i have limited experience having only had a digivox and a starview before, but its an ace image. the epg is cracking (simply because it works!)

update on bruteforce.... 12 mins remaining 125 transponders scanned and 455 services found!?

any hoo if it doesnt work and i've still not got setanta sports 2 can someone help me add it manually? thanks
my area is tamworth ex ntl. i don't know for sure which are covers me as in the past i've been told coventry, birmingham and nottingham.
doesnt matter! i've found it sorry for wasting your time....

Seems fine to me. You should pick up the channel no problem. If you dont get it however.

Do a manual scan.. in servise searching manual transponder scan.

Put these in proper entrys.

Provider: 683

press yellow

Audio: 0666
PCR PID: 0667
TSID: 0016
ONID: f020
Service: 049d
Untick no dvb.
Tick use SDT

Glad you're up and running Shady and nice to know the image is going to good use.

Another way to get all the channels is...

Press OK then RED to access the All Services list.
Scroll to a channel that says FLASH.
Press MENU > INFORMATION > STREAM INFO > RIGHT > RIGHT.

Note the Frequency of that channel, this is your 'default frequency' and this can be used to get all the channels very quickly.

Exit out of that page.

Go to MENU > SETUP > SERVICE SEARCHING > MANUAL TRANSPONDER SCAN

Enter in the frequency of your FLASH channel.
Put a tick in the 'Inv' box.
Enter in your Symbol Rate, either 6952 or 6887.
Put a tick in the 'network search' box.
Start scan.

This will only scan the transponders which contain channels that will work in your area and will take under 2 minutes.
