bros, i just got a dragon but the screen kept showing Signal Lost, I am able to view the channel names at the bottom of the screen but main screen is signal lost. Need any kind advice on this please. i was assured that device is not faulty as it was tested. Thanks in advance.

Bro BullDog, yup i actually read the thread a bit, but unable to find an issue similar to mine. so refering to the direct previous post, i couldn't even view the FTA channels through the dragon. I'm pretty sure the coax are good. Need some advice bro. Thanks.

Please read some of my other post long ago.
Your unit might not be carrying cable signal at all but still on antenna (fishbone) era.
Try direct from tv point to tv & manual tune to see if you can find SH test pattern, if you can't find the test pattern then don't have to try the box you just bot.

Thanks bro. seems like you are right. It's my unit that doesn't support, i can't even view the SH test pattern. will bring it to new house to use in a few mths then. Thanks again.

Hi all,

a newbie here seeking for help on 500c. i accidently hit the panic butoon on the set and now i'm not getting anything on screen, not even the FTA channel....can some kind soul help me out. I'm not good with PC, only knpw how to surf net (old man in 60s).....will be really grateful if some one can provide some simple instruction to slove thsi problem, otherwise may hv no choice but to buy a new set...sigh.....in any case, many thanks in advance.

There is no image download for DM800c here that works cos you have to insert keys and you need some knowledge to do it , you may have to do some homework.

reflash ur set...

null modem cable is the best way to do it..

hi thanks for your reply! yes i did alot of homework, also read tru this 114 pages thread, can't find much information on how to insert keys...

any kind souls can pm me how to do it... really very lost...

goto the var/keys folder & look for a file called keylist.txt or softcam.key

in there you will find keys beginning 00 & 01 edit them with the latest keys & your happy

My friends had told me all WC channels without signals again, but this time, it only affect these WC channels.

My technical guy friend were out of town, could not did a rescan to pinpoint the cause. I hope someone else could enlighten me on this if u did a check.

Yes... both channel for WC now blackout.

At work now so cannot check the main cause of it.
They could have either change the freq. if not, switch it to N3 but very unlikely at this moment as they have not ask to change the official stb.

Worst of all, I'll be going away for a week & will not be back till Sunday.

yeah can confirm the worldcup channel is blackedout. grr... lemme do a scan to check it out.
