IMHO, I think the current fiasco happens as ST is also the one paying for the rights. Maybe they kpkb, and SH gotta act.

As mentioned, maybe we can request for a private locked forum at digital-kaos. Whether who can be granted access gotta be worked out, maybe thru referral.

Hope everything will die down after the WC...

PS. for those having the DM900C or DM900CII, pls key in 00 before the command line.

Actually it's quite true...
mods should lock this thread until further notice.

Newbies posting openly requesting for pins and saying too much will only make things worse.

i know a lot of ppl are complaining lots.

but then again, think of your consequences of complaining.

from what i gathered, a few scenarios:
cannot watch wc but can watch others
or all channels black out

by complaining you are just making things worse. and then it is a road to no recovery which will affect even more ppl.

i am one of those who cannot watch, but i chose not to complain.

i think lots of ppl in the forum are quite afraid that they are gonna b tracked down and fined etc etc. as deadspan said, lets share information discreetly. i think ppl posting "i cant watch pls help me" or "pls gimme keys" isnt gonna help much and if you need spoonfeeding at least be courteous about it lar! got so many ppl msging to demand things like its a bloody god given right....dun forget its not technically legal to do what we are doing.

meanwhile as some of the more experienced people are quite unwillingly to help the newbies, i have started to play around with the digital kaos v1.1 image, once its ready, can share with genuine ppl who need help. am utilising the built in plugin to enable easy access to change keys via the TV.

Will appreciate if you guys can give me a break.
Am currently on vacation in China.
I know you have problem watching WC but I do not collect subscription fee from you guys therefore there is no customer service set-up for technical support.
For those with DM900C, my advice is still the same... Ask your seller.
For thse whos DM500C is working, well & good. That least you have figure out a way to solve the problem.
For those whos DM500C is not working, start reading the some stickie in this forum & you will figure out how to go about. I guarantee you that the solution is somewhere around.

LOL the time it took you to post this reply you could have posted a working image & ordered a drink from the bar
