DM500 CII is a photocopy of DreamBox 500 but less a few parts here and there.

I am receiving my sets too, the HK auction seller said mine was the 4-layer board, wont hang if i leave the set on 24x7. Slighter expensive than the 2-layer board which could result in chipset/tuner overheat and then need to send back to China for RMA at own postage expenses, repair is free.

Anyway, I got one set extra on-hand, pm me if u are interested.

Yeahlah u champion lah here. Ppl ask can just answer politely maaah.. Actually, I knew how to get meeyeotv thru dreambox, and I got to know this from the pro. This stuff will come soon, within a week or 2.. So only people who have big ego and only think he is the best will talk without sense...

The Chinese Atmega88 card dont have password, it is FUSE LOCKED. Smorgo cant program fully. It can program EEprom Area with D2c script. AVR you need ICE, or homemade with a HC244chip via // port. Or any AVR ISP programmer. Pls visit Lancos PonyProg for schematic.

Hi I used to edit a sun card or football card and it does not died off at all. I am using the nagraeidt with autoupdate. But this program I try does not rewrite for the present DM900CII card. I have tried. But just could not read the card.

Nagraedit cannot read/program the SunCard/FootballCard "flash". Cards are Atmega8, which since they have upgrage to Atmega88 and 168. It is the Eeprom that you edit with Nagraedit but not the 'working code' which is the "FLASH". You need a avr isp device,which is very simple, just visit Lancos. Download PonyProg 2.07 or any1 program that worked with AVRs.. Goto avrMicro, select your chip, AT8 or 88 or168. click read and you find the cards are LOCKED. Now you crack the card with your head.
Hint: you need only 6 pinout.
1 Vcc 5v0lts. (on the 8 pin side)
2 Gnd (on the 8 pin side)
3 SCK (on the 6 pin side)
4 rst (on the 6 pin side)
5 MISO (on the 6 pin side)
6 MOSI (on the 6 pin side)
Please google for more tutorial.
You can use direct // port (not recommended)
or a buffered HC244 device (safer, wont burnt your //port.)
Of course rich guys like you can buy the ICE, ICE MKII,USBISP, etc.... that can do the job faster.
