Do I connect DM900/DM500 box to PC using null cable and edit the M88 card using nagra edit

or do I need USB AVR ISP/HV programmer?

For IC88 chip-card, you need a lowest grade is the ISP programmer. The higher grade programmer are STK500 or STK600 in conjunction with ICEmarkII.
You can write BK, Key01 and 02 with the DM or any ChinaBox, but programming, u need the right AVR tools.

Only the Eeprom area can be edited by box or Nagraedit. The Flash is Write LOCKED.
IC88 has 2 ports, the Flash 0x000 to 0x1fff and the Eeprom 0x2000 to 0x21ff.

USB infinity is a shit. They use virtue comport that give lots of trouble. A cheapo China Phoenix is only RMB25 in SZ, when come here, buy 1 and use. However, the USN Inf can read/write the Eeprom area only. The Flash part, see my post.
USB infinity can use for ROM, Fun, Atmega168, Titanium etc but not for IC88. You need a ISP programmer. Visit KEE electronic for the cheapest and good ISP/HV programmer.
I have no connection with KEE. I am a programmer, so everything I wrote is for programming, NOT HACKING.

Programmer from KEE is about US$49 but shipping cost is about US$26, very expensive.

Ya, I just read some IC88 and they program for 6mth only. those buy on-line have life of 6mth or less. haha....

Actually, it no use as the Chinese here just photocopy your image and paste them on the IC88 cards.

I really dont know where they hide the expiry date, I use emulation to see if the card works after a certain date using STK500. I am too poor to buy the STK600, on top of that, I am not good in AVR, only skindeep.

I may post an expired dump later. You find the date in Nagra yourself. I also dont want to spoil the Chinaman business. I might get knock off here in China. This card expires on the 2010-07-30.

OK, found the file. at 2000.. 1111111111111111 and 2222222222222222 are key00 and key01
at 21f0 11111111 ffffffff ca n IRD bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb boxkey.

These are all I know, the rest I dont know liao.

something u just got to buy a gd 1 and live with it... cant remember the 1st time when i bought a unlooper... mad price if u compare with now... if u treat this as a hobby, invest... if just wanna save some $$$ from keep buying m88 card... get a wangka or virgin card...
