hi,i just flash my DM500c with the image dk1.1, it successful but however i cann't see any channel, i remember i still need to load vocamto and mgacam ,and i right? If the answer is yes, how to load to the dreambox , by null moden cable or by lan cable,thanks

I hv indicated you need an ISP programmer. Nagraedit is for Rom or Rom Emulated cards( eg Funcard, Titanium etc). You need a card craddle that can support 14pins. Your programmer is Infinity support only 8pin.

IC88 cards hs 14pin interface. of that you read earlier post where the 6 connecting pins are. (JPG was attached)
I repeat the 6 pins required are:
1) VCC +5volts
2) GND
3) Reset (rst)
4) SCK (clock)
5) Miso (serial output)
6) Mosi (serial input).

IC88 is AVR MICROs Atmega88 or 88v. Dont need hardware, just use Ponyprog>AVR Micro> Atmega88 to load and read my dump. I hv put flash and eeprom in 1 file, PonyProg will auto detect Flash and Eeprom.

something u just got to buy a gd 1 and live with it... cant remember the 1st time when i bought a unlooper... mad price if u compare with now... if u treat this as a hobby, invest... if just wanna save some $$$ from keep buying m88 card... get a wangka or virgin card...

You are correct, wasted lots of money before reaching this stage. Remeber the 911, ubomb, wizards, tiny, usb infinity, smart, cas3, phoenix etc, all these are in the junk box now.

ya, I also brought many programmer from DIY to USB.all in store. Ok, now I will try my simple phoenix programmer. No point buying VM or wangka card, you can not learn.
Is wangka(old HK card) also ATmega88?

WangKa also got imitation. Real Wangka is made of PVC white soft plastic type. Can be bend. It has a ST19CF68 chip EMMBEDDED call ROM cards. It does not matter if its VM, NTL, SKY, HKC or any others. As long as it is ROM card.

Imitation WangKa is the PCB or IC88, a photo copy of Rom paper pasted onto the IC88 card. It is HARD TO BEND. If you can feel a SQUARE chip at the lower end of the card, IT IS IMITATION. IC88 now Program to last 6mth only but arrive to SG already few weeks old, so you get less than 6 mth.

Here in CN we hv a pool of Engineers, real qualified B.Engg and M.Engg, doing reverse engg for all types of product from toys, handphones, testing equipment,Satellite Receivers etc for a FEE. Not cheap but compare to US and Europe, we are cheapo.

Ya man now we are getting to somewhere.... Very good exchanges. Satellite dish is also getting smaller on ku band and build in LNB... As long as you know how to point it to the correct direction you will get a5tr0. Just for learning do not break the rule here.

ya, I know the answer but just to make sure.
To read rom card with the correct programmer is not easy, you need BK3 .
I have try , still cannot read.
