I am looking for 14 pin type socket, most seller have 8 pin type.
Do you know where can get?

If you know where to get a 14 pin socket pls let me know..too busy at work. Maybe I will try to use small copper wire and tape it up connect up and run it. For 1 pc, I think is ok...but for many you need to build a mole.

Am I right to say, u need to desolder the ATMEGA88 chip and get it programmed? and then refit into the card?

There is no simpler way like slotting the card into a reader and hit some keys on your keyboard and bingo..?

No, you buy a card-craddle with the 14pins and connect the 6 wires to the pins I posted . Or get 2 card craddle of 8pin and sacrifice 1 to make the other 14 pins.

Years ago I did that, I shall post the craddle jpg later.

Added Jpg is using 2 craddle to make 1. It a little old but few years ago it serve me well programming "BLACK CARD" for Sat.
Please note on the 6 pin side, 2 pin missing cos they are not used. So i didnt add them. On the 8pin side, I lazy to take any out so left it as 8pin. ie, u need to add 4 pin to the craddle to read/program IC88.

ya, I know the answer but just to make sure.
To read rom card with the correct programmer is not easy, you need BK3 .
I have try , still cannot read.

Rom to Mmouse is peanuts. He is the expert.

First, search this thread for "Key Management Panel".
and install that plug-in.

Secondly, be nice and ask the carebears for the 00 01 Keys.

Thirdly, use the plug-in to enter the 00 and 01 keys.

Lastly, reboot our set.

You should ask the person who do the set for you for the password.

Diff set may have diff password

FYI... From what I just know, A5tr0 already hacked using DM500S.

Ya man now we are getting to somewhere.... Very good exchanges. Satellite dish is also getting smaller on ku band and build in LNB... As long as you know how to point it to the correct direction you will get a5tr0. Just for learning do not break the rule here.

astro, is about CS... Can SG ppl have Sat dish in your house? If can then stop using cable tv. Sat give you more choice. I receive many PM regards the china box and cards. I will write a detailed info on it soon over the weekend. I will listed down how to change the BK of the box to match the rom card or m88 if yours is not compatible. But you will need to ask your seller if they know the BK...

Ppl asked whoami. I am a chinese living in Uk now. I not linked to any seller in or out of china. I crack thing for hobby and challenge.

N3 is reaching SG soon. Enjoy while you can.

Yes... In order to use A5tr0, need to connect to a card sharing server. They do charge by 3, 6, 12 month for using their card sharing server.

I also wish we can install dish but cannot. The only place in S9 we can see dish (i.e: by a5tr0) is the M'sian High Comm.
