just goto the dl link, dl any image that suit your box. Need not hv to get a custom made img. Just add the mgcam, or easiest, the Key management panel, and put in the keys and you can start watch liao. All this are FTP, if you dont know FTP, then learn FTP and come back late to this site.

Ok am I right to erase my box with the erase500 using DreamUp then flash the image again?

But do I need to do anything to the file like mount the file or ??? before I flash cos I see the file is in Disc Image File (.img)??

Not neccessary.
1) earase x2 times
2) reboot
3) flash new .img. Any dem .img that works.

5) Try use Filezilla for your FTP og plug-ins. You can see where your files r goin.

Aiya, I am the SaoTuoKa Ah Pek leh, Please use NULL modem cable to erase and flash any image, the simpler the better. Then from your DM, goto> setup>system>network and u c the IP. Then you add you PLUG-INs.

Technically, I am IT trained, not electronic trained, I need more information on the IC88 programmer and its relevant progs.

Technical details on schematics and soldering, card readers only make me confused.

I am willing to pay to get a ready-made product with accompanied program and codes to reprogram IC88 cards for HQK3388 and DM900C-II. I got a stack of returned cards. It would be a waste if i dispose them as trash.

Anyone please PM me if you got the information on these.

I doubt the CHinese fy or any will sell their GOLDEN GOOSE to you. They rip $30 per card every 6month since April 2008. Their xport to Sg is about 4000pc of cards per year. However, you can exchange the old card with them as they just paste a new sticker over it and reprog the IC88 cards. Prog a card in less than 45sec and $30/-, I wonder (may I just assuming) are you willing to pay 50% or $30x4000= $120,000 that is $60,000 (50%) to hv the program, progger and code that works for 6 months only?

Also, I already gave a free dump in this forum. Try starting from there. The progger, card craddle, programs and dump are all given. It all free free from me. If you dont trust them , dont proceed.

You have only a stack of cards, they have thousands for Phillippines, Thailand, UK, Romania, Spain, rural China etc. I dont think they will sell their program.

Another tin, now they hv WangKa in Sg, IC88 is not going to get a market. It History and now IC88 is for learning purpose only. Also all their cards are LOCKED. You need more than just a progger and program to read their cards. You must know AVR and AVR Studio, especially FUSES configuration.

I wrote Phoenix dont work on IC88 card. Please use a card programmer that has 14pin in the card craddle.

WangKa also got imitation. Real Wangka is made of PVC white soft plastic type. Can be bend. It has a ST19CF68 chip EMMBEDDED call ROM cards. It does not matter if its VM, NTL, SKY, HKC or any others. As long as it is ROM card.

Imitation WangKa is the PCB or IC88, a photo copy of Rom paper pasted onto the IC88 card. It is HARD TO BEND. If you can feel a SQUARE chip at the lower end of the card, IT IS IMITATION. IC88 now Program to last 6mth only but arrive to SG already few weeks old, so you get less than 6 mth.

Here in CN we hv a pool of Engineers, real qualified B.Engg and M.Engg, doing reverse engg for all types of product from toys, handphones, testing equipment,Satellite Receivers etc for a FEE. Not cheap but compare to US and Europe, we are cheapo.
