No I am using 500C. I manage to get back to english menu after a long search. Did a manual and tp range scan from 100 to 999 mhz. After that i can only see free channels. All other channels not able to see, but i can see the channel names and the program name. But no video or audio. What will i do now?

If I am not wrong, master rest also reset the boxkey.

I tried to set up my DM800HD-C today. It seems that there is a power supply problem. Sometime it was in booting mode after I switch on the power supply. Sometime the LCD screen was blanked after power on and I only saw the two back ethernet led lighted up. The power supply provided is black in colour which is different from the white top colour one recommended by SGDVB. This intermittent problem gave me a lot of problem setting up this set as I am a first timer.

I flashed the image. During booting up, it shown Sim 201, Team 76C, then stucked at Penguin picture. What to do? Re-flashed?

Hi newbie here just got my dm500c..supplier from china say auto roll key install..so plug n play firstly came out THE GP..than transponder 1 choose auto or manual scan try both way system prompt cant detect cable or satelite,bring to another room try same thing..i input like this..

Just wonder how long it takes for first booting? After my second attemp, the dreambox kept trying to boot up with red led light flashing. Waited for ard 15 mintues still trying to boot up. Do i need to connect to internet during first boot? Or I internet connecion is needed only later when fire up mgcamd?

You don't need jnternet when re-booting box. As said above
looks like a bad flash. Use Dream-up & null-modem to flash box.

I am not sure the DBOX 800HD you are talking about the as the picture shown below. The are some China manufacture named the box as " DBOX 800HD (OEM dreambox 800HD PVR) ".

Normally first boot after a "NEW" image flashed will takes about 180 seconds or less.

If you have read the thread on "Info: Dreambox Services and Bouquets" then you can download my my Services & Bouquets for Dreambox at page 216 by then you can for get about scanning for channel.

1. In which directory I should transfer the userbouquets files?
2. I can't find the auto scan menu after transferring sg_cables.xml file. Where is it?
3. What is the procedures to do a full auto scan to make sure we don't miss out any hd channels?

1. use dreamboxedit, this is also useful way to backup and edit your services and bouquets plus it lets you reload by clicking a button.
2. you don't need the sg_cables.xml file. this is for dm500c.

if you want to scan your own channel, then you need to download sg_cables.xml from the download link.
