Have you try plug out the power supply(off) and plug again(on)?Base on the report, your standby button got no reaction n corrupt image..The mother board has hang,and if you still have warranty,pls sent to your respective supplier for 1 to 1 exchange. If you have no warranty means the box mother board has said bye bye to you.

My is a DM500C using the PLI image. Was working find. I did not switch off the box only the TV. yesterday switch on. corupt image. off/on DM500 and the video signal gone. But the set have power and pressing the standby button not reaction. Could be a hardware problem. But not harm trying the s/w approach first. Interested to **** around (pardon the work used) with this set but it my only set so did not.

Had a DM 500C that just failed. Don't know if it hardware fault or some thing that can be correct by a flashing. If it a h/w failure, then lan lan have to buy another set. Any lobang? but if all is needed is a flashing, any pointers on how is it to been done? What files is needed, (image, key, etc ) Where to d/l these files. I know this had been ask before and there are alot of info on the net. But they are not of singapore context and can be quite confusing for a noob. thanks.

Just bought 2 sets of dm500c, and used Digital-Kaos V1.1 image. However the set always freeze after the re-flash. Tried to flash again, still the same. May I know which image is the best for Sg?

Hi. Can I know if I flash Digital-Kaos V1.1 image, do i need to do some more configuration? or will it work immediately after flashing?

yes after a power cycle, the tv didi not detect any video signal. it look more like a h/w failure.

Have to turn off the mains and on again. Is there any other image which is more stable?

Many image to choose from.

I am using official PLi Mar 2009 maxvar image for buyers' DM boxes, since maxvar release allow more room for plug-ins.

While i am personally using OpenPLi Dec 31 2010 maxvar image, constantly upgraded.

The newer OpenPLi will auto scan in background, I had this feature disabled from screwing up customised channel description. (the channel sorted based on channel description)

Read the HOWTO from the websites, u need to know how to connect your DM set via network.

If you have no warranty means the box mother board has said bye bye to you.

As long the board is from TOP1 Dupengda (the OEM name is at the bottom right of the board), I could help you to send back at a service fee, and u still need to pay for the postage.

Surface mail postage take 10-21 days cost about $3-4.
While Standard Air parcel take 5-10 days cost about $5-7.
EMS/UPS/DHL/FEDEX, cost 4x more for 3-4 working days.

My SZ supplier only deal RMA with Top1 Dupengda board, not XLDZ or PCDIY.com

If you encounter freezing or blackouts after a power off, I suggest a change of power adaptor. Some china Dm500c boxes comes wif crappy power bricks, and the boxes are just not getting enough juice from them. the original bricks are rated 12v 2amp, so get a similar rating. reflash the box using dreamup after that.

if the box still have power, reflash using dreamup should do the trick.

Recently bought 2 sets of Blackbox 500C giving me problems. Initial start up was ok but it hangs after a few minutes and the remote control starts to fail. Anyone faces the same issue? I suspect its the hardware issue that is failing.

Ey... Why need to do that bro? They are sending all the flyers to green Martians, blue hat and garnement staff home mailboxces. They should have already consolidated their numbers and identified whom they are, where they living, where they are now, from their mabile database, and advance locating system. It will likely be a single fell swoop when they launch their strike if I know their action well enough, they make sure it is cleaned. So those guys are gone case already. Just wonder why don't they sell non duti paid cig using flyers, won't that be the same as this, but better profit? The penalty they do now is actually much worse than selling cigs, and less prufitavle. They must be darn ready for running now cos this penalty is really darn painful, if they would evan bother to read the legal fine and jual term on mumdeeace legilation. Lolz.

Tha garniment is able to target the exact location of the pones any second, as well as all massages in and out, and pones call in and out from it. Probably not good to get swipe in into swirl when they launch their strike dployment. just my personal racommendation. the strike will likely be sallers and pvtential buyers thus they track everything, think u'll anderstand what i mean.

My set is using Darkstar II. Ccam 1.35

Based on my experienced with blackbox 500C, I had no problem with since i started handling them, not a single box using my Jade PLi maxvar image, had failed. Blackbox 500c is a good box design, most buyer said its audio output is slightly louder than the dreambox dm500c.

Preloaded with both mgacam (default), and evocam, tux commander, and key management panel.

I believe the issue with your board is probably image related, or ac adapter power related.
