But bear in mind, most local seller are hit & run. Will not sell for long & not technically trained. Some don't even know about ftp sort of thing.

I can't agree with u more as mine was held by customs as well! The customs authorities called me for an interview for no reason but I didn't turn up of cos! He called me again the next day n I ask him what's going on then he told me that I have a parcel from china but I denied n say I didn't order anything! He said they will distroy it if that's the case! There goes my S$130! Those who think purchasing on line is safer pls think again! Purchasing from the website is idiotic as u re directly giving your address n contact to our ICA! I rather pay a bit more n get them from local supplier, who cares if they re clone boxes or not as what we want is free view of SH channels! I can even give my local supplier my address n he dare not come up as he is more afraid of getting caught then me! He begin to trust me After first transaction n future orders are much easier!

You are afraid that the police will trace you based on your previous nick, but you are not afraid of them tracing you based on this new nick.

Unless your previous nick has your contact information written all over it (in which case you can simply remove it), I don't see how having a new nick immunises you any more than your old nick does.

In addition, if you feel that having a DM500C as my avatar is sufficient for a case of prosecution, then I guess you are out of luck. Well just to play along, I'll heed your advice; I'll go change it right now .

As an aside for the rest, sometimes people with vested interests will say certain things, and usually may not want to be seen saying those things, to protect those interests.

Bro n sis, No matter what, let's still use it with discreet manner! I don't wished to see anyone out here get into unnecessary trouble! To me ordering on line is very dangerous as u re giving every of your particulars to unknown supplier who are so far away n care more for your payment rather then your safety! You can get this simcard at almost hp shop in SG.They use foreigner name to register 4-6card,than sell them to local for extra $10-$20.

just wonder, if u throw the sim card away than the person who register the card wont get question???

More important is to understand the pros and cos of ordering local, or ordering overseas, the differences in price, and what that difference in price gets you.


Personally, buying local does have its advantages, at an added cost. Same thing, buying overseas has cheaper costs; but disadvantages.

Most impt is to let the users have all the information so they can better decide themselves which to adopt; there's no right or wrong.
