but i don't know why my dreamedit always crash after sometime, makes me redo many times....

Check yr cables.xml and add it in the frequency 554mhz if there is none. I found that latest dreamboxedit a bit buggy so revert to older version.

Hmmm... Dun think anyone here can help you b'cos this box (DM500C-II) is not capable of having empty space in between channels.

This box have been around since 2008 & the product description said firmware upgrade via rs232 but i have never hear of any firmware upgrade available since then. Their so call new firmware update is only changing of bootup picture (from bull to dunno what cartoon) thats all.

I'm using ATEN usb2serial bridge. Must find an old computer, let me try...

Are u using usb to serial converter? Try using computer with serial port to flash yr box.

I am trying to FTP and copy the new user bouquet to the my DM500c. Digital Kaos - Downloads - SG Bouquet 07032012 E1/E2

However the files inside the downloaded bouquet differs from my box content as in there seems to be more files in the enigma1 dir than in my box.

Can someone help? Do I need to copya ll the files or just specific files? And to which dir?

Use dreamboxedit and it will ftp all the files to correct folder.

Hi Guys,

i'm new here and new some help, i'm using a DM500c-II with no card. I use the update channel list on the tv but the channels are using the old set top box number, any way to make it like the new set top box eg : channel 5 as 105 instead of 2?

Sad to say that this set cannot edit channels like dm500c we are discussing here.

Yup those version 5 i can't seems to copy/paste if doing ammendment so use back version 4 something can't remember

In option/general untick the automatically load the last used file
that way u can test your ip connection 1st, if all ok than open the file, sometimes we forget to set the ip from box to follow DB edit settings especially after flashing new images or for me using both 500 & 800

Which image? U need at least 1 post before u can make a download.

I am currently using DM500-C and my image crashed I have installed a new image (pli-Jade3-dm500) using a null cable but this dosent support SGhub can please assist.
