it was all the while ok n only suddenly when i on, it became like that.. i was not able to do a flash because it just keep on booting.

connect your box to a router. Then press yellow button on your remote. Select SGDVB Mgt Sys, then select online channel updates. Its a 5kb file

i use back the sgdvd img but i press the yellow btn there is nly update keys but no update chn.


What is the alt way? use the ftp method.i dl the bouquet already then i should put which folder to which folder in the db?

Are u using the dflash plugin to flash? Better to use web browser method to flash dm800 image.

I think we all got confused and mixed up. Only 500c has this online updates feature. If you are using SGDVB image, it should appear after you press yellow button on remote.

For 800 series HD box, no online key or channels update feature. You got to use flashfxp program and dreamboxedit to insert the keys and arrange the channels.

The service and bouquet you had below was for 800 series.

My DreamBox 500c is starting to get stuttering images in some channels right now such as Boomerang chn, Foxcrime chn. Using SGDVB image.
Anyone have any suggestion on what to do?
Will reflash help? I tried updating but still doesnt work

Don't think reflash will help. Change your antenna cable to a better quality one first and see if the image improves.
I believe your signal is a split/ sharing with another room right?

bro.. im having a weird problem.
After flashing and FTP my keys in, channels working well.
Did the following to setup my ext hdd
Go to folder /etc/init.d/rcS

and then adding the below at the end of the file

mount /dev/sda1 /media/hdd

After restart, my stb was in a rebooting loop.. cant get it to boot up successfully.

The above steps I used it for your previous image.. working well. not sure why this time round having this rebooting loop.

Not wanting to be spoon-fed.. Read the stickies regarding flashing.. In this case the
more I read the more I don't understand.. Own
Dm500C but recently my fav history channel disappear.. Mine is Pli jade green.. Say if I flash my box with the banquets that I download from the download section can I get back my History channel..let's say I flash using one of the image do I need to rescan the box for all the channels or it is already being flash inside the image..
Really sorry for the question..
Also looking for 800 hd go upgrade from 500c..
