Latest dm800se and dm500c image mod for SG use. Picons added and channels updated include upcoming euro and following sh numbering sequence via remote.

DM800se:

1. FTP this to your var/etc
2. menu/setup/satellites & transponder/tick the disabled background scanning/exit/restart your box
3. menu/setup/satellites & transponder/Automatic transponder scan/press ok if u see s***h**/start scan/ok when done
4. Now all your channel list is still intact except those new channels will be located at the last list/When done untick back the disabled background scanning/reboot or restart your box

Those affected should be freq 354 like History channel or u can manual scan freq 354 after FTP the latest cable xml still use the same procedure as above

hi guys just got a 800se fm mixshop for S...h.. use , as i understand there is a need to self flash , is there a link for dummy on flashing ? other than image do i need a key ?im new to this hope bro and sista out there can advance

Depend on how active u r, if u want the easy way u can use the latest images in download section for SE than FTP your keys to their respective folder/restart cam or box.
If u want the hard way u still can use the default images then
1 Install camd depend on what images if possible mgcam 1.31
2 scan for channel/rearranged it using DB edit/or use bouquet in download section for SG E2.
3 FTP keys to their respective folder.
4 optional if u want picon for your osd
5 Time consume to get your box up

u can read the stickies in red if u r not sure or don't have enough knowledge/confident or post your question if still not sure enough & most important backup your keys & rom files before flashing new firmware.

PS : Don't ask me for keys

U can download the latest images from our senior YPVS for 500c remember to backup your keys 1st before flashing new firware.
If u can't download it post more question in order to have access downloading anything in DK

Most box already come with pre installed image so u need to scan for channels, install softcamd, ftp keys and roms to the correct folder before u can view paid channels. If u r using original box, make sure u flash original image to it if u decide to change the pre installed image.

I tried both the "Merlin-3-dm800se-2012-03-18-e3-SSL-84b" & "Dream Elite 3.0-dm800se-010r4-e3-SSL-84b" images but both prompt the "stop playing this move?" immediately after I select a movie?

Not sure whether it is a configuration issue or something else? Or does it require a harddisk?

Any advices?

Can try it some other time maybe site is down. Previously is working, and now having the same issue.

just sharing info so don't be surprised if some channel may be dissrupted as for me yesterday hit very bad on certain satellite signal

I tried flashing the image for my DM500C but end up only able to watch the FTA channels. Moreover only can select the channel using the remote +/- channel button, cant select by inputing the channel number via remote
