Hi, recently my dm500c is crashed! When I switched on the set and it just showed a greenish picture; "Pli Jade Think Green Thank you for choosing Pli" and it stayed there. This is my second time clash.. It happened about 10 months back. Am I the only one has bad luck on this model? How do I solve this problem once for all? Need your advises, thanks.

just sharing info so don't be surprised if some channel may be dissrupted as for me yesterday hit very bad on certain satellite signal

No wonder Phoenis138 C-Band was down. Will try again today.

Download section Master Abeltcb's image is stable more than 1yr liao n 3 digit too. Pls search.

Do a reflash, if not ok:

1) try change yr Power-supply.
2) If it VideoLan model, change HC04 to HCU04.
3) If flash chip has a "flash" in italic font, chances are d chip is fried.

Flashwizard but dreamup is recommended if u wanted to flash from normal to maxvar image or vice versa.

I tried flashing the image for my DM500C but end up only able to watch the FTA channels. Moreover only can select the channel using the remote +/- channel button, cant select by inputing the channel number via remote

That is because u did not ftp your keys/restart cam or box in order to watch those encrypted channels.
As for input channel number via remote as per SH 3 digit no. i'm working on E2 bouquet right now if successful will do it on E1 box however my box is Satellite tuner so no access to the actual channel i can test it only need feedback from u guys in SG for any mistake or something i miss
