Where do you get this USB to serial? And also can it be used with windows 7? Because I just bought a usb to serial, it cant work with my device.

Reserved channels??? There are no reserved channels on this DM500C image. Are you on the same page? If really got reserved channels then I'm sorry, that not my image as my image never come with reserved channels.

Either that, maybe your remote is spoil therefore cannot go up/down.

Anyone else using my image have this problem like wizzz8wizzz???

Is this z-tek brand? U still need the null modem cable in order to do the flashing.

Of cos you can but you still need a null modem cable to connect between this usb-serial to your rs232 port on your dm500.

hi bros,
i donno wat's wrong with my dm800hd..
my set is bl82.. sim 2.01
I flashed it with OpenPli2.1-dm800-09042012-SSL-84b

the problem is,
after i flashed... everything seems ok the first day..
then the 2nd day when i boot it to watch... the screen starts flickering badly and the set does not respond to my remote..

I had to reflash via dreamup...
but the process repeats itself...1st day ok.. 2nd day flicker again..

I had reflashed twice already... can any bro advise?
am i flashing with an incompatible image or wat?
