DM7025 STILL can't get 7025 clearing :(

Hey guys I'm at the end of my tether with this...

I have a 7025+ and I'm in N Ireland. This is what I have done...

1) Downloaded the file 'Dreambox stuff' containing a keys folder from the forum

3) Replaced var/keys, and var/scce with the folders from that file

4) Made sure the files were chmod to 755.

5) Restart the box

6) Left of Sly Sports 1

Yet nothing clears for me. Please can someone advise?

what image are you using m8

I have mgcam 1.3 on the box - it decodes but stutters on living+1 and a few other channels. snr=93%, agc=43% and ber=0 (I have a great yellow brick booster). Checked connectors etc.

I would like to get evocam 2.12 installed and working to cure the stutter.

I have copied roms, keys etc across into

\usr\keys
\usr\scce
\etc\tuxbox\scce

I have also set perms up at 777 to cover all options

mgcam works fine (apart from stutter) but evocamd says its running but never clears. Sometimes the sound comes through though (left over key?)!.

any thoughts how I can make this work? Current image is jade but have tried most of the others out there as well.

In some areas evocamd just won't work, not sure why.

I assume you've downloaded evocamd from the addons menu within the Jade image? Evocamd uses different files than mgcamd does, are you sure you have the correct files? The latest versions of evocamd require additional files before it will work, i.e. faynman.cfg and newcamd-client.txt. I've attached them if you want to add them to the keys folder.

If you've managed to install evocamd 2.12 then you won't need these files.

I do have those files already and my dm600 (evocamd) and DBOX are working fine!
(I cant download due to insufficent postings I believe)

Im sure that I'm missing something simple but not sure what!

I mean download from your 7025 using the remote and addons menu.

Although your Dm600 and dbox are working with evocamd, the 7025 is a different version of enigma and the version of evocamd that you have on the 600 and dbox won't work with the 7025. That's why I suggested downloading it on the box, so that you know it's the correct version.

Enigma1 images, i.e. Dm500, 600, 7000, use evocamd.pps files. Enigma2 images, i.e. 7025, 800, uses evocamd.mips files.

I've attached the 7025 version of evocamd_2.17a for you to try if you can't download it on the box, simply overwrite the version that you have, remember to rename this file exactly as the original.

i didnt get on with the jade image on my 600 or 7025
i didnt find very user friendly

i have evocamd 2.12 working even 2.11 or2.13 should do the job

i have 2.12 working on all the lt team images,gemini 3.50 and 3.60

2.12 is not on the addon server , i added mine manually, downloaded from there sites

before you reinstall your keys and scce files to/usr/

look in var/ as they are symlinked delete them from there as well
i had it once before when nothin cleared

Hi download evocamd from your image and copy this evocamd in usr/bin and chmodd 755 and restart your box make sure you put your k*ys and r*ms usr/k*ys and var/scce r*ms
