DM500 watching premium channels for free?

Hi

I live in Finland and I've just bought a Dreambox 500-C. does anyone know if I can watch premium channels for free? what should I do as the starting point? should I install any images?

What is the method that you guys in UK use for watching premium channels by DM? do you use card sharing?
I am new to this DM stuff. Please help me.

you know the dm500c is for cable tv,you would be better off changing it if you can for a dm500s (s= stellite) you will need a satellite dish pointed at the satellite for the type of channels you wish tyo view. if you want to use the dm500c for cable you will need to read up on more local sites to find out what you need for viewing tv from your local cable tv provider.

I don want to use DM500S. how do you use it in UK? is it so that you must connect the DM to the Internet and get the keys? Do you update the keys?
I'll be happy if you give me some info about how you do it in UK

Dreambox 500 c are a linux unit, with many diff images available to use. Basically any image you use will give you the free to air channells. Cable providers encryption cards have been cracked with a few years in UK and Ireland, and with the rom files taken from these cards and loaded to dreambox and also loading an emulator, premium chans were/are viewable.
The whole process here is being changed here at the moment with cable providers rolling out a new encryption here (N3) third generation of encryption by Ku delski.
To get your 500c to do the magic, you will have to find out what type of encryption your cable supplier is using and if it has been compromised!!!!
Cardsharing is commonly used on sat, but there was no need for it on cable when it was possible to emulate!
Just to let you know, c/s discussions are not allowed here, so if you have to go that route, google is your best bet!!
