[dbox] iPhone remote?

Just spotted an app for the iPhone called DreamOn. Which is basically a dreambox remote on your iPhone. So it got me thinking... Is there anything out there that does the same thing but for the dbox?

for anyone else out there with an iphone...

just discovered a program called dreaMote which works perfectly with the dbox (as well as dreambox). and best of all it's legit AND free (from the appstore). it has an EPG as well as message funtion, so you can leave messages on the telly asking the missus to make a cuppa

there's plenty of dreambox remotes poped up recently, but not sure how many of them are compatable with neutrino dboxes. and dont want to pay to find out they're not!

Hi , just tried this but wont work. I put the name as dbox2, put i.p in, and passwords, I put port as 21.
Should I be doing something different??

the only settings i put in were -

Name: Dbox
Remote address: (IP of dbox)
Remote username: root
Remote box type: Neutrino

i left all other settings blank and it works perfect

Really good , even shows buckets to switch chennels and epg. And really fast and simple compared to my crappy remote!!

Dbox remote £6.00 including delivery from the flea hole.

Iphone £??? dont know but I'm sure it'll be trhee figures.

At that price the damned I-thing should do the changing by itself without maunal intervention.

The remote on the yWeb interface works well enough from my trusty old N95.

Any news on this I could do with this on the iPod touch which I tested but did not work unless someone knows different? Pls get this ported to touch now LOL
