DBox2 Flashing Experience- Hopefully helpful to others

1. imaged with blade quad image from the download section.
2. had to change it from 2x to 1x using the converter also from the downloads page.
3. Set location to Leicester1 and did a scan and it came up with an error "No Channels were found. Please execute a scan (dbox button-> Service)". so i copied the services.xml, bouquets.xml and cable.xml to the new image in their appropriate places (checked from the old image) and did a scan after that. The scan worked however non of the channels had picture or sound.
4. I tried with Leicester2 location and it was the same for that.

Not entirely sure what could be the issue with this. I had to revert to the old sportster image where Sy sports works on that. Does anyone have any ideas where i can correct my steps? thank you.

Check what ucodes and emus your using and make a note. Set these in your new image. You will need also to back up service files roms and keys and ftp them over to your new image.

I had to do a bruteforce scan as choosing my town didnt work. took ages, but found everything.

hi again, copied the files across Bulld0g, which finally got the box working then tried the brute force scan royhid but the same channels appeared again. i did a scan the day after and could not view the channels that were working, meaning my box has finally had its days. the only option left to me was to purchase the service, which i had finally circum too. thanks all on the forum for all your help in flashing my box.
