Post image problems


i have tried loads of images on dbox commando sportstar pacino all cable images
but when i go to scan its only giving me satellite options have tried putting in cable xml file still cant scan help plllleeeeeeaaaaasssssseeee

in the service scan part just change the Bouquet option

heard of this b4, the conclusion was that the tuner was shagged.....

all images default to sat if they dont find a cable tuner on boot up. it sounds like your tuner is shot.bouquet options have nothing to do with it.

it was ok till i scanned for new channels

check the bootlog it will tell you if the tuner is completly knackered

Sorry for the miss infomation I was assuming that the box was in working condition as the Bouquet option does include a sta scan option. I never took into account that the tuner may be broken or faulty.

i have done the test at the link you give me and it all seems to be ok i am getting a clear picture when i have cable feed in dbox and a cable out of the output to the tv

try fergals advice and check the bootlog

post a boot log as fergal has said. It will show whats wrong.
