Waiting for time means no connection. Make sure cable feed is connected up and there are no loose connections.

area provider is coming up as cable deutschland, so if that will change to 6887 or 6952, if not you will need to reflash an image

I should add that at the same time, the following message comes up now when I connect the cable feed directly to the tv (see pic).

Previously the tv was tuned to receive the FTA channels with the cable feed, now, the FTA channels are not there and instead this message appears.

I've had a look on the forum, and there was some mention of the anlagoue to digital switch over, however i'm a little confused.

final thing to add is that I don't have any subscription with the cable provider.

The error on the dbox screen suggests an issue with the tuner, the box has recently been replaced by the seller, and when it arrived, it worked ok, but its stopped working at the same time as the virgin error message?

any ideas anyone.. i'm lost as I have no dbox and no tv channels either! :-(

Dont mind me asking, what kind of dbox do you have?
I've never seen this type of message about analogue signal before on the dbox.

The box is a dbox2 (2XIntel), does the dbox work on an analogue signal or digital? or both? I always assumed that the signal coming in through the coax cable was analogue?

What is bizzare is now the cable feed will not allow the tv to pull down the normal FTA channels either? The cable feed was used as the ariel cable to the tv whilst the dbox was out of action, however now I have neither the dbox not tv with FTA channels.

Have you got another box that you can use to check the signal coming in. Dbox is digital and the feed coming into house is same. All analogue box's are off or are going off now.
Try using different image (Blade Quad) I got no problems on mine.

What area are you in, virmin are turning off all there analogue services, and it would appear that your area as now been turned off, also around 2% of the country cant be changed to digital so if you are one of the 2% it looks like you are in trouble m8
Also the dbox can receive channels in both analogue only and digital areas

No m8 thats for freeview nothing to do with your cable feed, some areas are still on the analogue system comming down there vermin cable as the cable/equipment cant cope with the digital system, ie. part of bolton is still analogue only and cant be upgraded to digital so when it all goes digital they wont have a cable system.

Like i said its only around 2% of the country that cant be upgraded.

    Worth trying a scan though.

    Derek
