Unhappy NOT EVEN GETTING ANY FTA AFTER FLASHING

Hai, Iam a new mwmber to this community, so please pardon me if I sound like an idiot. After loosing all the channels, I have flashed my dbox2 with new laky sylas image fta*2. I found that there wasn't any keys in var/keylist or in scce. I have put the old keys from my old laky pro image without rom3 and rom10.bin and replaced old nagrarom7 with the new one. rebooted the box but still not getting any channels including FTA channels. I have done a channel search with and without selecting the area, but it is stuck while doing the search. What have I done wrong? do I need to do anything else? I am getting the EPG and channel lists not the picture. Please help me. Many thanks in advance.

signal issue

did you unplug the box including the cable then flashed it, if so you may have connected the cable to the wrong connector on the back

or worse case the tuner is faulty

I have read on other forums about isusses with pleople not setting location on the Laky Stylas Image. I had exact same problem. As soon as i set my location I was sorted and it found everything.
Or Just FTP your service.xml to your dbox

My exchange used to be Bromley but for some reason I now use Dartford as bromley wont work.
Maybe try a few others close to you. Thats what I did and after I had tried a few I found the right one.
Good luck mate and let me know how you get on.

i have flashed my box to the previous laky pro and ftp the new nagrarom7 and it is working now. i had problem with selecting the location in the new sylas laky image, but on my previous image i dont have to select any location, just scan for channels and it will come up without any problem. if someone want this image, i can upload it.(it might be available in the download section though).also i only replaced new rom7 with the old one, the remain files stayed in the key file. thanks

After you have selected your location on Laky Stylas it should give you the option to restart.
If it just wont reboot maybe try reflashing the image.

Agree with above whole heartedly - Used the same image
I tried this on my box location setting - abbeydale (no reboot confirmation came up)

No Channels picked up under scanning either

Changed location to Bristol (miles away - same settings i think) - this time confirmed me to reboot with control

After reboot scanned all channels really quick

Had all FTA channels

Copy across roms 7, 10 and 11 via FTP

Reboot and channels cleared after seconds
