Hi,

I got my dbox2 with laky pro april 2008 image. It is working fine and well. But I would like to upgrade to blade june 2008 image. Any tips on upgrading???

Backup Boquets + services.


FTP the laky .IMG to VAR/TMP on the Dbox2

And Flash Via remote.

Always a good idea to read PT-1s Dbox2 Helpfile if you're just starting out with the dbox2.

As above, easiest way is to copy img file to /tmp and flash using the remote.

DBOX BUTTON
SERVICE MENU
SOFTWARE UPDATE
EXPERT FUNCTIONS
WRITE ONE PARTITION
FLASH WITHOUT BOOTLOADER

Select img from options and ok.

hi
firstly i would back up laky pro image on pc
DBOX BUTTON
SERVICE MENU
SOFTWARE UPDATE
EXPERT FUNCTIONS
READ ONE PARTITION
FLASH WITHOUT BOOTLOADER
then save tmp file on pc
then delete tmp file from dbox tmp folder

then do as devilfishes post
easiest way is to copy img file to /tmp and flash using the remote.
