Default Wireless Router Kit


What would be the best wireless Router to have to stream the Dbox to get the best results consistently. And do i need the usb hub connected to my laptop or can i use the standard wireless card on there.

Basically any wireless router will do you. As for getting it consistant....thats hit and miss as far as I am concerned but others have no problems at all, for me sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt, I dont know why. The wireless card in your lappy will pick it up.

I use a Netgear router mate, basically cos it was cheapish and you have virtually no problems setting it up for pc/laptop/xbox 360. I have the pc connected via network cable, dbox connected the same, laptop connects wirelessly and the xbox connects using homeplugs( a plug that transforms your house mains cable into a network, works a treat too with 85Mps connection).

Wireless is very unreliable for streaming video even wireless n or pre n have there problems. Go for homeplug 200mb av or use cat 5 for a solid connection
