did you post your tag number in the correct case

yes, when pc boots up it shows HDD encryption screen and shows "... #H9DTXB1-595B is protected by a password authentication system."

HDD tags are different than Bios ones
if it has ***# in front then password 7bl2pght

EDIT : should be 11 digits before -595B

if it has no characters before or after H9DTXB1 then the password given is correct
44hto6ls (also 2nd last is l for love not a one) make doubly sure you type it in correctly
