Hi guys. cold anyone tell me how to install software for usb to serial convertor. Loaded up supplied disc but cant connect

what are you tying to connect to, is there any other usb-serial drivers installed ie port io for the 360

thanks for reply. been trying to connect a usb to serial connector cable. but just not happening

to what device? set top box?

Did you install the driver before connecting the adapter? If you did remove the software and drivers and reload them without the adapter connected... Probably best to try this anyway..

If after trying the above process you still have issues please advise us what version of windows you are using and also what make and model the adapter is (should be listed on the driver cd etc)

Your new serial port will have a COM number assigned to it. With the CD software I had, it assigned the serial port to COM9. Sometimes the program you want to use via this serial port only works through COM1 to COM4.
