Looks like a hard drive problem.

Try running chkdisk on hard drive from windows repair.

or the BIOS has forgotten the settings. Where/whoever you bought it from may know what the BIOS settings are supposed to be. Not knowing whether its' a SATA or PATA drive won't help etc.

If its loosing settings, check or replace the bios battery. also check the motherboard for bulging capacitors. I just repaired a intel P4 D845, it was restarting about once every hour to once a day, 2 caps. near the cpu were bad.

I would recommend to try booting from and CD/DVD/USB, could be the Win7/Vista/XP instal media and repair with the console (by pressing -R due booting and then run the consolle commant with, as was said here, commands chkdsk/ f and then fixboot or fixmbr).

If you have a free USB, try to instal an system-to-go (like Slax:

    Slax: your pocket operating system

You can save all data from HD (if it is possible) before trying all the fixing :-)
