trouble after fitting Solid State Drive (SSD)

just fitted my OCZ Agitally SSD and now getting trouble downloading and ...

    Default trouble after fitting Solid State Drive (SSD)

    just fitted my OCZ Agitally SSD and now getting trouble downloading and opening programs. for e.g. ill be downloading on newsbin and my HDD goes on full load (LED is always on) my download speed goes to zero and programs wont load until the light goes off. ive never had these problems before i installed this SSD. any ideas people. Thankx in advance...... p.s tried updating FW for the SSD but it wouldnt update,

    Is this your system HD or a secondary HD? What operating system are you using? If windows, did it load a generic driver or did you use the manufacturer's driver?

    If windows, open task manager and see if you can find anything. If WIndows 7 open resource monitor to see if anything is accessing the drive excessivly, and also do a chkdsk.

    Maybe check OCZ's website for a firmware upgrade. And also check your motherboard manufacturer's site for a BIOS upgrade for this issue.

    This is my System HD, im runing WINDOWS 7. i didnt install any drivers for the drive so it must be generic drivers. Task Manager is 99% system idle.. opened resource monitor but dont know how to read the thing, but disc spikes to the top. been on motherboard website and updated bios and still the problem is going and couldnt find anything on OCZ website, i have a OCZ AGILITY.. any more help please people....
    Oh forgot, i have a SATA internal drive for storage... Motherboard is MSI K9A2 Platinum

    In resource monitor, click to expand the Disk info. Look at read and write for high numbers and see what's causing it under the file tab. Mine also spiked to the top but went down after a few seconds.

    Another thing to try is go to MSI website and download and install the chipset drivers for your MB and OS.
